Eternal Senia Short

Eternal Senia was released in 2015. An old style JRPG. This charming game follows the somewhat introverted Senia on her quest to rescue her Sister from the Tower of Eternity. It is a well written story with three different endings and actually makes you feel for the characters by the end.

The tower consists of three unique dungeons, each with their own style and enemies. The final bosses of each area are one of the highlights of this game with each battle becoming a frantic dash to avoid minions and AOE attacks. Over the 5-6 hour campaign you can increase Senias power by leveling, improving skill or crafting.

There are a couple of issues with this game though. Some monsters are exploitable and some people have criticised the use of RPG maker assets. Considering how well the game was put together and how small the team was I would say that these issues are minor.
