Presentable Liberty Short

Released in 2014. Presentable Liberty is a story driven game where you are locked in a cell and your only contact with the outside world is through a stream of letters posted through your door.

Without spoiling too much of the story. You are a prisoner during an Epidemic and are one of the few people that do not have the virus. The letters you receive often include gifts, the most prominent of which is the Portable Entertainment Product. You will be spending much of your time playing simple phone based games while waiting for letters.

Presentable Liberty isn't really about the mini games though. It's a story that during its hour and a half campaign covers themes of depression, exploitation, solitary confinement, loneliness and loss. You have no ability to respond to the people writing to you so you often feel powerless to act.

Since it's release the creator Robert Brock sadly took his own life. I believe that if you have an interest in story driven games that you should look at his work and there are other videos that have covered this much better than I can.
