Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun Short

1999s follow up to Command and Conquer continues the battle between UN backed GDI and terrorist group NOD. As commander of one of these factions you fight for control of the planet and the tiberium resource.

Unfortunately while this resource does provide easily extracted minerals it is devastating to the planet and much of the green in the original has been replaced with desert. This is shown in the level design where even the map editor didn't have a grass option. The games units also follow a more futuristic aesthetic with your army consisting of mechs, cyborgs and UFO bombers.

Multiplayer is alive and well too with matches being quick and easy to setup using the sites own C&CNET matching program.

Tiberian Sun is available to download from CNCNET.ORG and includes the firestorm expansion. Other games in the series are also available which I may cover in the future.
