Warzone 2100 Short

Back in the 90s Command and Conquer was the series to beat. This meant a lot of clones wanting a piece of the RTS pie. Warzone was one of these games.

The B movie story line is told in old CGI videos. The world has been nuked and its your mission to recover the technology left behind.You aren't alone however Mad Max style raiders or advanced cyborg armies will stand in your way over three campaigns brown, black and green.

You design your vehicles with the stolen tech and build up an army from your base.

A fun game with a lot of the features found in more modern games of this genre. According to wikipedia, which is always right, this game pioneered the combination of radar and artillery. A bit of a down side though was units can get stuck in larger numbers.

The Warzone project continues to support the game with the latest release pushed out in July 2020.
